Assistant Professor, Cinematography	Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Motion Picture Photography or cinematography.	At least three years’ professional experience as Cinematographer and / or teaching experience in Motion Picture Photography or cinematography.
Assistant (Still Photography)	At least Higher Secondary with Chemistry as one of the subjects.	At least four years’ experience as a Laboratory Assistant in a commercial Film laboratory or of similar institution of repute and in digital photography.

Application Fee:

• Aspirants are required to pay Demand Draft (non-refundable) of Rs.200/- for Assistant Professor Post and Rs.100/- for Assistant post, drawn in favour of “Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute”, payable at Kolkata.
• GOI – SC, ST, PH, female categories applicants are exempted from payment of application fees.

Assortment Mode:

The applicants will be short-listed on the basis of criteria fixed by the Institute, at the time of scrutiny and then eligible short-listed candidates will be called for trade test and / or interview (as applicable).

Instructions to Apply for SRFTI Recruitment:

• Interested candidates are required to firstly move to the official website of Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute that is www.srfti.ac.in
• Then hit the “vacancy” tab available at menu bar of the home page and further select the suitable link of the post as “Advertisement for the Post of Assistant Professor, Cinematography & Assistant (Still Photography)” on the appeared page.
• This will open the required advertisement containing the application form that is attached below it.
• Interested candidates who fulfill the above requirements may send their neatly typed application on plain paper as per the format along with self-attested copies of certificate of proof of age, qualifications, caste, experience etc. and two copies of recent passport size photographs and addressed it to as given below.
• Applications must be accompanied with a Demand Draft and must send it  by ordinary post or may drop in the application box located in Administrator Block of this Institute, latest by the last date that is well structured below.
• The envelope shall be super scribed with the name of the post applied for.
• Interested candidates applying for more than one post, have to submit separate application (along with separate Demand Draft) for each post.
• Those already employed under Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector / Autonomous Institutes, should apply through proper channel.
