Courses Offered     

Ph.D / M.Sc (Neuroscience)

Eligibility Criteria:

For Ph.D Programs: Candidates must have the Master’s degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Sciences / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics etc or a minimum of four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% (for SC/ST) or 50% (for general) marks or equivalent marks in 10th standard examination onwards will be considered.

For M.Sc Course: Aspirants should have the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any branch of Science such as Life Sciences / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer applications / Pharmacy / Veterinary Science / Psychology / Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized Institute / University.

Application Fee Details:

All category appliers should need to pay approariate application fee which is shown in official link and fee will be paid by online mode or through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National Brain Research Centre payable at Gurgaon or Manesar

Selection Process:

Applied aspirants will be selected for a two-tier interview based on their performance in the JGEEBILS-2015 examination or their score in the GATE 2015 / 2016 examination / JEST 2016 examination /CSIR / UGC / DBT / ICMR examination for (JRF).

Process to Apply:

Online Mode:

Appliers will have to log on the official website that is www.nbrc.ac.in.

Now, select the appropriate notification from the ‘Highlights’ section which available at the right corner of the homepage.

Then, hit the on the ‘Admissions to Ph.D. (Neuroscience) and M.Sc. (Neuroscience) programme for the year 2016’ link.

And press the ‘Apply Online’ button seen at the menu bar and must fill the entire details and submit it.

After that, log in with the new generated id or password and again fill the online application form with the required information.

Upload the digital images of their documents if required and press the ‘Submit’ button to record the details.

Take the print out of application form and must be sent to the address given below on or before the last date.

Offline Mode:

Contestants may also apply by submitting the prescribed application form which is downloaded from the official website. Appliers must fill the application form with the desired information and attach the Xerox of entire documents along with Demand Draft and send it to the address given below before the last date.
