Body:
Bihar Public Service Commission was established on 1st
April 1949 after separation from Commission for States of Orissa and Madhya
Pradesh. This commission was established by Constitution of India for selection
of contenders for assistant vacancy in state of Bihar as per norms of
reservation and merits of candidates. The first chairman of BPSC was Mr. Shri
Rajandhari Sinha. In this commission, Recruitment is made by 2 methods that are
Direct Recruitment and promotion.

Main purpose of Bihar Judicial Services examination is
to hire suitable and skilled contenders for the various vacant positions. This
